2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect payment information through our third-party payment processor (Stripe or Apple). We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.

2.2 Vehicle and System Data

ArcNode connects to your vehicle's energy system to provide monitoring and insights. We collect data from your connected devices, including battery state of charge, solar panel output, power consumption, shore power usage, alternator charging data, water tank levels, and temperature readings. This telemetry data is transmitted from your ArcNode hardware to our servers and stored in association with your account.

2.3 Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including app usage patterns, feature interactions, device type, operating system, and general location data (if you grant permission).

2.4 Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session and improve the Service. We may use third-party analytics services to understand usage patterns.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including real-time monitoring, weekly digests, predictive alerts, and system scoring
• Process transactions and manage your subscription

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Telemetry data is retained based on your subscription tier: free accounts retain up to 7 days of historical data, and paid accounts retain up to 90 days of cloud-synced energy history. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: We use third-party services (such as Stripe for payments, Supabase for data infrastructure, and Loops for email delivery) that process data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect your information.
• Aggregated data: We may share anonymized, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you individually (for example, average energy consumption patterns across our user base).
• Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
